Designing a patient-centric digital practice

Overview
I was tasked with modernizing the brand and digital presence for Women's Care Associates, a physician-owned OBGYN practice in Mansfield, TX. I executed a full visual rebrand and overhauled their outdated website to create a welcoming, easily navigable patient experience.

Diagnosing the digital experience
The practice's existing website was failing its patients. A thorough heuristic evaluation revealed an outdated information architecture and clunky design patterns thatcaused friction for users trying to access basic services. The digital environment did not reflect the high standard of care provided in the actual clinic.
The owner wanted a brand that conveyed a caring, patient-centric focus. I executed a complete rebranding, starting with a new, clear vector graphic logo. I curated an inviting typography system and a warm, appealing color palette, ensuring every visual element—from imagery to illustrations—aligned with their mission of caring for women through all stages of life.
Accessible & maintainable
I translated the new brand strategy into a clean, easy-to-navigate web experience. The architecture was restructured to seamlessly incorporate a new patient portal. To ensure the practice could easily maintain the site autonomously without ongoing developer costs, I built the final product utilizing the Squarespace content management system.
